Cisco Systems® announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.2(13)ZP on the Communication Media Module for Cisco® Catalyst® 6500 Switches and Cisco 7600 Series Routers. The last day to order the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(13)ZP is March 1, 2005. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until March 1, 2010. Table 1 describes the end-of-life milestones, definitions, and dates for the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(13)ZP. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement.
Customers are encouraged to migrate to the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(8)XY on the Communication Media Module for Cisco Catalyst 6500 Switches and Cisco 7600 Series Routers, which provides enhanced functions with superior quality and reliability. Information about the replacement product can be found at: http://www/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps5413/prod_ios_releases_home.html. Table 3 provides relevant information for migrating from the Cisco IOS Software Release 12.2(13)ZP to Cisco IOS Software Release 12.3(8)XY.
