Product Migration Options
The Cisco IOS Land Mobile Radio (LMR) on ISR routers is now part of the core Cisco Unified Communications Technology Package (UCTP). Purchasing individual licenses for Cisco IOS Land Mobile Radio (LMR) is no longer required.
This change is effective with IOS 15.3.3M (PI22) release of July 2013.
The migration product identification numbers for the UC Technology Package are -
L-SL-29-UC-K9=, SL-29-UC-K9, SL-29-UC-K9=, L-SL-39-UC-K9=, SL-39-UC-K9, SL-39-UC-K9=.
Any Cisco ISR-G2 2900 or 3900 Series router voice bundle already contains one of the products above and is thus entitled to run and use the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) functionality.
Customers may be able to use the Cisco Technology Migration Program (TMP) where applicable to trade-in eligible products and receive credit toward the purchase of new Cisco equipment. For more information about Cisco TMP, customers should work with their Cisco Partner or Cisco account team. Cisco Partners can find additional TMP information on Partner Central at
http://www.cisco.com/web/partners/incentives_and_promotions/tmp.html.
Customers may be able to continue to purchase the Cisco IOS Land Mobile Radio (LMR) Licenses on ISR Routers through the Cisco Certified Refurbished Equipment program.
