Introduction
This document describes the steps involved in enabling Computer Telephony Integration Object Server (CTIOS) private bytes via perfmon tool to troubleshoot CTIOS process related issues.

- Windows perfmon application
Components Used
The information in this document is based on the Cisco UCCE 11.x version running on Windows 2012 server.
The information in this document was created from the devices in a specific lab environment. All of the devices used in this document started with a cleared (default) configuration. If your network is live, make sure that you understand the potential impact of any command.
Configuration Steps
Step 1. Launch Perfmon.exe, as shown in the image:
Step 2. Create new user defined data collector set, as shown in the image:
Step 3. Enter the name of Data Collector Set which you create and select the option Create manually (Advanced), as shown in the image:
Step 4. Select the Performance Counter option in Create data logs section, as shown in the image:
Step 5. Click on Add and expand the Process Counter, as shown in the image:
Step 6. As shown in the image, select CTIOSServerNode object for Private Bytes and Virtual Bytes counters.
Step 7. Set sample interval as 60 seconds and click on Next, as shown in the image:
Step 8. As shown in the image, select the path to save the data.
Step 9. As shown in the image, select Save and Close and then click on finish.
Step 10. Right click on newly created Data set and click on Start, as shown in the image:
Step 11. Before you collect Private bytes, right click on new data collector set and stop the Data collection and pickup the file from the output location, as shown in the image:
