|Potential conflict between redistribute-direct and attached-host on upgrade
Unexpected behavior during certain upgrade/downgrade scenarios.
A software issue has been identified with Cisco APIC Release 4.2(6g) and Cisco Nexus 9000 ACI-mode switches Release 14.2(6g) that might affect your use of this software. As a result, these releases have been deferred. The deferred images are no longer available for download.
For additional information about what is included in this software, refer to these documents:
The Cisco APIC Release 4.2(6g) includes the Redistribute Direct feature. This feature uses the policy managed object l3extRsRedistributePol, which is also used by the Attached Host feature. The constants defined to identify these features use the same value. This results in a conflict, and it is not possible to differentiate these features when the policy is downloaded to the policy engine and processed. This could result in unexpected behavior during certain upgrade/downgrade scenarios.
Upgrade to Release 4.2(6h) or later.
